Nanotechnology Industry Will Shoot Up To $700 Billion By 2007

Till only a few decades ago nanotechnology was an unknown entity in the public space. But now it is widely known to be the next revolutionizing frontier of science. In simple terms, nanotechnology is about understanding and manipulating structures at the atomic and molecular levels. It is the science of building atomic particles. It has tremendous technological implications ranging from space sciences to microbiology. It is widely understood to be the propeller of the new century of evolutions. There are tremendous growth prospects for the nanotechnology industry that is expected to grow from $225 million to $700 billion by 2005 to 2007.
